The Island Private School of Limassol is seeking a Housekeeping Manager to oversee and maintain the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall presentation of our boarding school facilities. Starting in September 2025, we will offer boarding services to 50 students in Grades 7 to 12 at our Episkopi Campus.
This role is crucial in ensuring a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment for students, staff, and visitors.
The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented, organized, and proactive professional with experience managing housekeeping teams in hotels, schools, or similar residential environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and lead a team of cleaning staff, maintenance to keep high hygiene standards.
- Develop and implement cleaning or catering schedules for dormitories, dining areas, and other school facilities.
- Train, motivate, and monitor staff performance to ensure efficiency and adherence to hygiene protocols.
- Conduct regular inspections to ensure all areas meet school cleanliness and safety standards.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, drills, including proper use of cleaning chemicals or emergency drills and other.
- Implement and maintain sanitization protocols to prevent the spread of illnesses.
- Manage cleaning supplies, equipment, and linen stock, ensuring proper usage and timely reordering.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor in a hotel, school, or similar residential setting.
- Solid team management skills.
- Excellent knowledge of cleaning standards, hygiene protocols, and inventory management.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative in problem-solving.
- Good communication skills in Greek and English.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations.
- Flexibility to work some weekends or evenings if needed.

Working hours: Monday to Thursday/07:30-16:30, on Friday/10:00-18:00.
