CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, an expanding provider of Professional Services with offices in Nicosia, we are seeking to recruit an Senior IT Auditor to join their growing team. The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and executing IT audits according to established standards and frameworks, focusing on data security, network infrastructure, and software systems. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security, or another related field, and holders of the Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification are encouraged to apply. Experience either internal or external IT Audit or other related disciplines relevant to the role is required, and knowledge of IT internal control frameworks, professional standards, and leading practices will be considered an advantage. Fluency in English and Greek is a must. Our client offers an attractive remuneration and benefits package based on skills and experience.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Plan and execute IT audits according to established standards and frameworks, focusing on data security, network infrastructure, and software systems.
• Prepare detailed reports on IT audit findings, presenting complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
• Work closely with audit and IT management to ensure timely completion of audit projects.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in IT audit standards, technology, regulatory compliance, and cybersecurity threats.
• Perform additional duties as necessary to support the audit department.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Security or a related field.
• Experience in either Internal or External IT Audit, or other related disciplines relevant to the role is a must.
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) qualification will be an advantage.
• Knowledge, skills and experience in applying the principles and practices of Information Technology Audit and Information Security.
• Knowledge of IT internal control frameworks, professional standards, and leading practices (e.g. COBiT, ISO 27001, ITIL, COSO) will be considered as an advantage.
• Excellent organisational, time management, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and critical thinking.
• Fluent in English and Greek (oral and written); Russian or Ukrainian is considered an advantage.
