CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established and market-leading provider of Home Automation and Building Management Systems for both commercial and residential properties across Cyprus, we are seeking to recruit a Design Engineer to join their growing team based in Nicosia. The successful candidate will primarily be responsible for designing automation, audio, video, home cinema and security systems, as well as managing a team of Technicians and Engineers. Our client is seeking applicants who are educated to degree level in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or another related field, who possess prior technical field experience. Any experience in audio/video systems and/or security will be considered a significant advantage. Networking and IP Systems experience is required, and fluency in both verbal and written Greek and English is a must. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Design automation, audio, video, home cinema and security systems.
• Plan, install, test and commission automation, audio, video, home cinema and security systems.
• Manage and schedule resources for projects.
• Manage a team of Technicians/Engineers.
• Liaise with contractors and clients regarding projects.
• Liaise with customers for projects and technical support.
• Maintain high standards of quality and efficiency.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• University degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology, or another related field.
• Prior technical field experience will be considered as an advantage.
• Experience in audio/video systems will be considered as an advantage.
• Experience with security systems will be considered as an advantage.
• Networking and IP Systems experience required.
• Prior Autocad is an advantage.
• Fluent in Greek and English.
• Computer Literate in MS Office.
