We are currently looking for an IT Audit professional to join our team. This individual will take on the operational responsibility of providing information technology audit assistance for audit engagements, with a strong focus on maintaining audit quality and professional skepticism.

The Opportunity:

• Prepare for audit execution with a focus on understanding the entity's IT Processes, and risk identification procedures, especially for those systems that are either Hosting, Processing, or Transmitting financial data.
  • Identifying relevant IT applications for each business process.
  • Identifying General IT Controls (GITCs) linked to the consistent operation of key Automated Application-Level Controls, and evaluating the design and implementation of those General IT Controls.
  • Gathering evidence and forming conclusions that contribute to audit objectives.
  • Test and evaluate the operating effectiveness of relevant automated controls and/or General IT Controls to assess impact on engagements.
  • Evaluate audit results to determine if audit objectives were achieved.
  • Complete audit documentation demonstrating an unwavering focus on audit quality.
• Apply Computer Assisted Auditing Techniques/Software Audit Tools (CAATs/SATs):
  • Use firm-approved audit tools and innovative technology solutions to enhance audit quality, productivity, and data insights.
  • Managing the extraction, sanitization, uploading, and processing of financial data for audit engagements.
  • Leveraging tools to automate and optimize data analysis, ensuring accuracy and completeness in financial analysis.
  • Apply professional skepticism, objectivity, and independence to identify and resolve potential data issues.

The Requirements:

• University degree with grade 2:1 or equivalent in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or a related fiel.
• Related work experience in performing IT Audits will be considered as an advantage.
• Good knowledge in the Financial Services Industry, IT Audit, Internal Audit, External Audit, and Accounting will be considered as an advantage.
• Knowledge of Information Security concepts and related control frameworks (e.g. COBIT) will be considered as an advantage.
• Certifications such as CISA will be considered as an advantage.
• Willingness to pursue the CISA certification.
• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages (written and spoken).
