CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established provider of IT Services & Solutions to a wide range of clients, we are seeking to recruit a Junior IT Administrator to join their growing team based in Larnaca. As a Junior IT Administrator, you will primarily be responsible for providing technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, as well as installing, configuring, and maintaining computer systems and networks. An academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology or similar is desirable, and you will need to have a sound understanding of computer hardware and software, as well as familiarity with operating systems. This is a junior-level position and full training will be provided. Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Provide technical support to end-users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems and networks.
• Assist in the setup and deployment of new hardware and software.
• Monitor system performance and ensure optimal operation.
• Document and manage technical issues using our ticketing system.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff to improve and implement IT processes.
• Conduct regular maintenance and updates to ensure system security.

Key Skills/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Ideally 1+ year of relevant professional experience is highly desirable. 
• Understanding of computer systems, networking, and software applications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and a customer-oriented mindset.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar) are a plus.
