CareerFinders, on behalf of our client, a long-established provider of Audit, Assurance & Tax related services to a diverse portfolio of clients and regulated by ICPAC, we are seeking to recruit a Semi-Senior Auditor to join their growing team based in Nicosia. As a Semi-Senior Auditor, you will primarily be responsible for leading and executing audit engagements for local and international clients in compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA). Our client is seeking applicants who are ideally educated to degree level in a relevant field, who are working towards the ACCA qualification. You will need to possess 2+ years of experience in the audit field, and be fluent in both verbal and written Greek and English. Strong knowledge of MS Excel is a must, with any knowledge of Caseware considered an advantage. A highly attractive remuneration and benefits package is on offer, which includes a generous base salary, 13th salary, paid parking, and excellent working hours with 3 days per week finishing at 15:00.

 

Key Duties/Responsibilities: 

• Lead and execute audit engagements for local and international clients in compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA).
• Preparation of Financial Statements in accordance with IFRS.
• Assist in client onboarding processes, including Know Your Customer (KYC) and AML reviews.
• Prepare and submit personal and corporate tax returns.
• Provide regular reports to the Partner regarding weekly tasks, client updates, and other matters.

 

Key Skills/Experience: 

• An academic background relating to Accounting, Finance, Economics or similar will be considered an advantage.
• Ideally a Partly-Qualified ACCA student.
• A minimum 2+ years’ work experience in audit.
• Excellent knowledge of the Greek and English languages
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of Caseware International will be considered an advantage.
