Aramex Cyprus Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our accounting team.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Monitor and reconcile customer accounts, ensuring all payments and invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Conduct periodic internal audits to identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions.
- Assist with year-end financial closing processes and external audits.
- Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
- Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
