Aramex Cyprus Ltd is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Accountant to join our accounting team.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day financial operations of the company.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and bank reconciliations.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Monitor and reconcile customer accounts, ensuring all payments and invoices are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Conduct periodic internal audits to identify areas of improvement and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist with year-end financial closing processes and external audits.
  • Perform other accounting and finance duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
  • Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
