Architect
On behalf of a client, an architectural office in Pafos, we are seeking a talented and motivated Architect.
Objective
The ideal candidate will contribute to the design, planning, and execution of architectural projects, collaborating with senior architects and project teams to deliver high-quality results. This role offers an excellent opportunity for professional growth and involvement in a variety of innovative projects.
Position’s Duties Responsibilities
• Assist in the creation and development of architectural designs for residential, commercial, or public buildings, ensuring they meet client expectations, budget, and code requirements.
• Prepare architectural drawings, plans, and specifications using CAD software and other design tools.
• Work closely with senior architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design feasibility, technical accuracy, and compliance with regulations.
• Assist in conducting site visits to monitor construction progress, ensuring design specifications are followed and identifying potential issues.
• Participate in meetings with clients to understand their requirements, present design concepts, and provide updates on project status.
• Ensure all designs comply with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including reports, proposals, and presentations.
• Assist in integrating sustainable design practices and materials into the project design process.
Position’s Requirements
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
• At least 3 years of professional experience in architecture, with experience in designing and drafting architectural plans.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Lumio, Archicad or similar), and design software (SketchUp, Rhino, etc.).
• Strong understanding of architectural principles, construction methods, and building codes.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• A portfolio showcasing previous architectural work (including academic projects and professional experience).
