In this pivotal role, you’ll be at the heart of strategic decision-making, helping shape the future of a multinational group with influence across multiple sectors. We’re looking for a data-savvy professional with a finance background, who thrives on turning complex data into clear, actionable insights that drive business success. You’ll collaborate closely with the Finance team and key stakeholders across the Group to improve data accuracy, streamline reporting processes, and provide critical input into high-level strategic initiatives. Responsibilities

  • Analyse large datasets to provide actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain data models, dashboards, and reports to support financial and operational performance monitoring.
  • Interpret trends, patterns, and variances in financial and non-financial data to identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Support financial consolidation and reporting processes in line with IFRS, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Collaborate with finance teams to enhance the accuracy and timeliness of management reporting.
  • Assist in financial forecasting, budgeting, and variance analysis by leveraging data analytics.
  • Utilise and optimize MS applications (Excel, Power BI, SQL, Power Automate) to enhance data processing and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development of automated reporting solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Work with IT and finance teams to integrate data from multiple sources into a unified reporting framework.
  • Liaise with finance, operations, and senior leadership to align data analysis with business objectives.
  • Support ongoing process improvements and automation initiatives across the Group.
  • Ensure data governance, accuracy, and security across all reporting platforms.

Requirements

  • ACA/ACCA Qualified professional with at least two years of post-qualification experience in a finance analytics or data-related role.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft applications, including Excel (advanced), Power BI, Power Query, and Power BI.
  • Experience with IFRS consolidations and management reporting will be considered an advantage.
  • Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) experience (reporting, data analytics, sustainability metrics) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience in data modelling and visualization.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate complex data insights in a clear and concise manner.
  • Knowledge of SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools is a plus.
  • Experience in a multinational or group finance environment is an advantage.
  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate data insights into strategic recommendations.
