Athanasiou & Co. (A.T.A.) Limited is licensed to practice as Certified Public Accountants and Registered Auditors, holding license numbers E610/G/2014 and E610/A/2014, issued by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants Cyprus (ICPAC).

Responsibilities

• Bookkeeping of a portfolio of clients
• Liaising with clients for the gathering of accounting related information
• Preparation and filing of Quarterly VAT Returns
• Submission of monthly VIES Declarations
• Ability to work up to a trial balance review level and prepare the company for an audit
• Liaising with the auditors for the Annual Statutory Audit
• Ability to work as a part of a team and liaise with the company’s other departments
• Basic payroll administration and processing
• Other internal administration duties relevant to the department

Qualifications and skills

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting and/or LCCI level III
• 2+ years of working experience within a professional services organisation
• Knowledge of BTMS or other accounting and payroll software will be considered as an advantage
• Fluent of the English and Greek languages
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Good interpersonal skills
• Being a team player
• Strong attention to detail and confidentiality are a must
• Excellent communication, and organization skills
