CAREER OPPORTUNITY
We invite applications from enthusiastic and hard-working individuals to join the Accounting Department of our Nicosia office in the position of Manager. The department provides a wide spectrum of services to clients, including bookkeeping services, management accounting, payroll, and preparation of statutory financial statements.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the delivery of accounting services to a portfolio of clients across various sectors and sizes, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
- Manage and review the work of the accounting team, ensuring accurate and timely bookkeeping, reconciliations and financial records.
- Lead the preparation and review of management accounts, financial statement, and reporting packages, providing strategic insights to support client decision-making Monitor and ensure timely processing of invoices, receipts, payments, and payroll across client portfolios,
- Review and approve documentation related to annual audits income tax and VAT returns, ensuring accuracy and adherence to statutory deadlines.
- Coordinate and communicate directly with clients, auditors, and tax authorities, addressing queries and providing professional advice as required.
- Develop, mentor, and supervise junior staff members, fostering their professional growth and ensuring continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal processes to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Support business development activities by identifying client needs, proposing tailored solutions, and contributing to client onboarding.
- Manage administrative functions related to the department, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
REQUIREMENTS
- University Degree in Accounting & Finance or related field.
- Holder of LCCI Higher will be considered an advantage.
- Holder or studying towards the AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians) or CAT (Certified Accounting Technician) qualification will be considered an advantage.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience.
- Computer Literacy, with very good knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both Greek and English.
