Position: Quality Risk Management (QRM) Lead| Risk, Regulatory & Forensic - Nicosia

Our Risk, Regulatory & Forensic team is looking to recruit a dynamic, committed and reliable professional to join us as a Quality Risk Management (QRM) Lead, at the level of Senior Consultant, in our Nicosia Office.

The Team

Our wider Risk, Regulatory & Forensic team helps clients address issues and operational risks, internal audit, risk management and internal controls services. This is a unique opportunity to engage in cross-border collaboration with Deloitte professionals across the Deloitte network, broadening your knowledge and building your competencies and skills.

The Role

The successful candidates’ key responsibilities will include, among others:

  • Support the team on areas of quality risk management, in line with Deloitte’s risk management policies and procedures.

  • Responsible for the management and oversight of the engagement and client acceptance process its QRM requirements/targets

  • Lead the department’s process and quality improvement initiatives

  • Serve as subject matter expert regarding the Quality Risk Management during the engagement and client acceptance process

  • Maintain knowledge of relevant regulatory mandates and ensures Risk, Regulatory & Forensic activities are in compliance with requirements.

  • Work with the team to maintain the policies, procedures, and other educational materials for the engagement and client acceptance process

  • Review and/or support the preparation of QRM documentation (i.e., forms review and/or completion)

  • Maintain updated and accurate internal QRM databases and records

  • Monitor and interpret regulatory changes that may impact the administration of the engagement and client acceptance process

  • Collaborate with team members on various QRM tasks which are both standardised and non-routine that positively impact the work of others and/or timely delivery to clients.

  • scheduling weekly and monthly meetings/conference calls/appointments; taking minutes; preparing meeting packs.

  • Contributing to wider projects and initiatives within the team, as required

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in Law , Economics or Business Management from a reputable university; postgraduate degree in any field will be considered an advantage

  • 4-5 years of previous related experience in professional organisations or anti money laundering, onboarding, conflict checks, quality and risk management matters

  • Excellent communication, organisational and administrative skills

  • Highly organised with a meticulous approach and attention to detail

  • Ability to handle internal and sensitive information with strictest confidentiality

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

  • Ability to prioritise tasks and work on multiple assignments while meeting tight deadlines

  • Strong organisational skills, as well as attention to detail

  • Strong interpersonal, communication and influencing skills

  • Excellent computer literacy, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point

  • Excellent command of the Greek and English languages, both verbal and written
