THE COMPANY
On behalf of our client, a leading Hospitality Group operating in Cyprus and abroad, we seek to recruit an enthusiastic and high calibre professional for the position of General Manager - Revenue, to be based in Nicosia.
THE POSITION
The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing revenue management strategies to maximize profitability across a portfolio of Hotels, as well as to enhance overall business growth.
More specifically, the successful candidate will be expected amongst other, to:
- Develop and execute comprehensive revenue management strategies for all Hotels
- Analyse market trends, demand patterns, and competitor pricing to optimize rates and inventory
- Implement dynamic pricing models to maximize RevPAR (Revenue Per Available Room) and GOPPAR (Gross Operating Profit Per Available Room)
- Drive direct booking strategies while balancing third-party distribution channels
- Maintain and grow both the online and offline revenue per Hotel of the Group
- Negotiate contracts with a number of tour operators worldwide
- Create and recommend seasonal price strategies per Hotel and per market
- Prepare and present detailed revenue forecasts, performance reports, and financial analysis
- Monitor key revenue KPIs, including ADR (Average Daily Rate), Occupancy and Market Share
- Utilize data analytics and revenue management systems (RMS) to enhance decision-making
- Work closely with Hotel General Managers, Sales and Marketing, Contracting and Digital teams to align revenue strategies
- Develop strong partnerships with Online Travel Agencies, Tour operators and distribution partners
- Guide property-level teams on revenue best practices and ensure alignment with corporate goals
- Oversee the implementation and optimization of revenue management systems
- Enhance digital distribution strategies, including metasearch, GDS and brand websites
- Ensure seamless integration of technology to drive efficiency and accuracy in revenue management
- Drive a data-driven, customer-centric approach to pricing and inventory management
- Lead a team of contracting and online revenue managers and analysts, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence
- Provide mentorship and support his/her team to ensure high performance and professional growth
REQUIREMENTS
- University Degree in Hospitality, Business administration, Finance or any other related field
- At least eight (8) years of experience in revenue management (online and offline) with at least four (4) years in a senior leadership role within the hospitality industry
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth in a multi-property hospitality environment
- Experience in managing revenue across diverse hotel segments (i.e. luxury, midscale, budget)
- Knowledge of digital marketing, e-commerce, and distribution strategies
- Strong negotiation skills
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a deep understanding of pricing models
- Ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management abilities
- Commercial awareness and business orientation
- Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to effectively manage multiple tasks
- Excellent knowledge of Greek and English, both written and verbal. Proficiency in an additional language will be considered an advantage.
- Excellent computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office and revenue management systems (e.g., Duetto, IDeaS, RMS, Opera)
REMUNERATION
